Jazz Capacitor Kit
(+JZ-CK)
All the Jazz preamps have socketed pickup capacitors. Change the capacitance applied to the pickup to change the location of the frequency peak in High Z-mode. Actual results depend on the pickups being used.
Capacitors:
- 2 each 100pF
- 2 each 220pF
- 1 each 330pF (1 shipped default for Bridge Pickup)
- 2 each 470pF
- 1 each 680pF (default for Neck Pickup)
- 2 each 1000pF
- 2 each 1500pF
- 2 each 2200pF
Larger caps lower the peak frequency location. You can remove the caps to get the highest frequency your pickups will allow.
